birthday bonsai

Mom and Dad sent me a bonsai tree for my birthday! It is pretty cool... a miniature tree.

Kyle just finished re-finishing all the tables in the living room. Before they were a beat up white pine finish. They look at ton better and top off the room! Below is a picture of the stairs, we just took up the carpet and they have a lot of potential as well.

And as last time... craft room still to come, we aren't quite on top of things around here.

We had a great holiday season seeing family and visiting Florida. Despite the lack of sunshine it was great to see my parents and meet Macen (Brad and Jenny's baby!). We also worked on our tennis skills with Grandpa Lokker!
Now that we are back and getting into the swing of things that means it is time for more house projects. We have taken all the wallpaper down in my craft room and are hoping to finish painting before this weekend. Kyle has also taken the carpet off the stairs and they look pretty good, although will need to be refinished along with the floors. So, when we are finished the craft room we will put up a picture!
