11 months

two posts in one day!! this girl is on fire!  (or just catching up)

Landon is eleven months today! I am on time for once :)  As usual, I would like to say that time flies and I can't believe he is getting so big and is almost one year old... while all that is true, I will skip to the fun stuff we have been up to lately.

Landon's bag of tricks of growing every day... he is motoring around faster than ever, not too interested in learning to walk anymore as he can get anywhere he wants to go quite quickly.  He pulls up on everything (seriously...everything, he pulled up on Duke today!), he still has just the four teeth, he is eating more and more finger foods, loves blowing bubbles and buzzing his lips together, saying "dada", "momma" and "duh" for Duke.
 love that phone, mom!
 sheer excitement
trouble... this kid is getting in to all kinds of trouble

yummy! he loved eating the snow
 first snow angel
like I said, trouble.  he helped himself into the cupboard for a little snack

my two top teeth are HUGE!!!
I would say about 2'2" (maybe 2'3" if he stands up tall! :)

Our day

Before the craziness of family activities surrounds us this coming week, Landon and I had a nice relaxing day. We played inside, went for a walk in the sunshine, played in the snow, he napped, I cleaned, duke napped, barked, then napped again! All in all, it was a good day. :)

Getting into the world of finger foods! I love it, but I think duke likes it best! Tons of extra snacks :)
First taste of the snow...literally, and this was his reaction! Love at first bite!
My snow bunnies. So glad landon likes it because duke would live in the snow if we let him!

baptism blessing

We had the privilege of having Landon baptized this morning in the presence of both of our parents, many close friends, our church community and most importantly God.  We feel so blessed to have Landon in our lives and can't wait for the day where he can choose, on his own, to serve our Lord and Savior.  We are grateful for the community we have surrounding us, both close and across the country, to help us raise Landon.  We can't wait to see what God has in store for him.

sophie meets her match

So when Landon first started grasping objects when he was a baby his favorite thing was sophie the giraffe.  She made his world a happier place as he knawed on her feet and her face.  well, since halloween is coming up we thought it was fitting for Mr. Landon to be a giraffe!  He is so stinkin' cute, we couldn't stop laughing over this outfit!  More to come, as it is not even halloween yet, but I just can't help myself :)

nine months

wow. so far behind on the blog-front
Landon is nine months, weighing in at 19.2 lbs and 28 inches tall. He is a growing boy, eating tons of food, and getting into all kinds of trouble... he is offical 'on the move' ALL the time!  Its so fun to watch him learn new tricks and work on his coordination, but I now spend the majority of my time keeping him away from the dog dish.

we have to make the picture sessions quick  now! he does not sit still :)

new favorite: the floor vent grates
dukes world is being turned upside down... landon's favorite things are HIS (duke's)
