First milestone

I am one week old today!  So far my life has been a lot of the same thing: eating, sleeping, pooping, hiccups (repeat).  I love to be all bundled up in my blankets and smile for my mommy in the middle of the night!  My big brother, Duke, is very nice and soft.... it doesn't even bother me when he barks at people outside.

Introducing...

Landon James Engbers, born on January 19, 2013 at 9:50pm.  6 lbs. 8 oz.  We all came home on Tuesday and are adjusting well to life with a baby.  Landon already had his first Dr. appt and is a very healthy baby boy!  As the saying goes, "A picture is worth a thousand words"... I will let all the pictures do the talking!

It is incredible to think of fearfully and wonderfully made we are.  God is so good, He has blessed us with a good pregnancy thus far and hopefully only one more week of waiting to meet our little miracle!

home stretch

17 days and counting..... We are finally in the home stretch and CANNOT WAIT to meet baby Engbers!  Let the guessing games begin (and may be the earliest prediction win!!!!!!!!)  At my shower back in October, Miranda had everyone put their prediction on a calendar of when we would have the baby, my vote is with Annika so far :)

 

We have been quite busy finished his room and if you know me at all, I am sure you would put your money down that I have been "nesting"...well, you are right!  Here are a few pics of the nursery :)
