One Month

This month has been full of firsts for all of us!  Landon is now one month old (can't believe it!! but I will be saying that the rest of his childhood ;)!  Just this last week we can tell he is getting older, he can now focus on things and will stare into our eyes.  He loves looking at the ceiling fan light in our living room. He has a play mat now and can see all the animals hanging above him.  He has had a couple baths and really likes the water.  He is not too fond of diaper changes but I can't blame him! 

We had our Dr visit yesterday.  His one month stats: height: 21" (already grew an inch in just a month), weight: 8 lbs 14 oz!  Growing so fast!  Besides the Dr, we have been getting out and about more.  Last weekend we went to a basketball game, and out for appetizers after.  He is quite a hit when we go places!  We were planning our first visit to church as well, but we had about 3-4 inches of snow Sunday morning and church was cancelled.  Next week will have to be his debut to church!  On Monday, President's Day, Kyle was home from work so we ran errands in the morning and then took the rest of the day easy just hanging out at home.  We are loving being parents and feel so blessed to have Landon in our lives.

HOLY COW!!!! Look at all that snow... Kyle spent about 5 hours snow blowing on Saturday! So thankful we didn't loose power.  God is good and His creation is beautiful!

two weeks

Landon had his two week Dr. Appt today.  It was our first outing just the two of us and we survived!  He is growing a TON... weighing in at 7 lbs 10 oz and measuring 20.5".  He has gained more than a pound since he was born and grew and half inch.

We also had a big day on Saturday, getting newborn pictures in the afternoon and having small group at night.  Landon did great all day, smiling tons in the pictures and sleeping through dinner at small group!  Here is a sneak preview from the photographer...
