16 months

This crazy kid is getting so big! Like, he seems like he is closer to two than just a one year old. His language is expanding every day, adding words every day. His favorites right now are "baby" (says this all day long, seriously, all day... And no, this isn't an announcement:) "mommy" (instead of just "mom", I love it :), "daddy" (advanced from dada) "car", "shoe", "puppy", "oooh", "no" (definitely my favorite, ha!;) "noh" (while pointing to his nose", "ps" (please, although he signs it way more often than saying it, "hup" (for help), "hi" and "bye bye" complete with a wave and sometimes a kiss! While he try's saying a ton more words when we prompt him, these are the ones he had mastered! He makes animal sounds for dog (woowoo), cow, lion (raa), bear (rrr) and monkey (ah ah). This is one of my favorite things he does right now!

Another new aspect of our lives is "time out" time! While its not at all new that Landon tips the dogs water dish, he does stay sitting in a time out for about 15 seconds... A step in the right direction, I'd say!

He is also trying to jump! It's hilarious. He bends his knees and then goes up on his toes, getting zero lift off from the ground!

Other loves: water, of all kinds, he loves drinking lemon water with cucumber and mint, he loves splashing in water, in the hose or puddles on the driveway, he loves the tub. It just doesn't matter, he loves it all! Tupperware, bottles, climbing the stairs, getting on the door of the dishwasher when open, being outside (he bawls at the door when we come inside!), reading books (getting more and more into them every day :), pushing the noise buttons on his car with his toes, stacking blocks, and his bottle (oh man, does he LOVE milk!!) oh yea, and duke! He is always with his best friend, duke!

He had a check up last month and seems to be right in track with development. He is small for his age,15% for weight, but 60% for weight. Definitely and Dutch boy taking after his daddy.

And if course, the pics... All from my phone, I forget to have my camera out all the time and its just too convenient to use the phone.
